Kauai Aadheenam, popularly referred to as Kauai's Hindu Monastery, is a traditional south Indian monastery located on the northern most of the Hawaiian islands, Kauai. It serves as the headquarters for the global activities of Saiva Siddhanta Church, Himalayan Academy and Hindu Heritage Endowment. Sri Subramuniya Ashram refers to its guest house or devasthanam which houses young men in training to be monastics and occasionally other male guests who have come to study or serve at the aadheenam. This fund provides youth scholarships for monastic or priest training. It helps pay the travel and immigration expenses for youth who are interested in monastic life or priest's training under the guidance of the Kailasa Peetham and who would come and stay in the devasthanam. It can cover all of their basic necessities, including but not limited to, food, clothing, school supplies, necessary travel, dental, medical etc. Your donations to this important fund will help to create the spiritual leaders of tomorrow.
