K. Aadheenam Endowment for Hindu Religious Art and Artifacts

Kauai Aadheenam, popularly referred to as Kauai's Hindu Monastery, is a traditional south Indian monastery located on the northern most of the Hawaiian islands, Kauai. It serves as the headquarters for the global activities of Saiva Siddhanta Church, Himalayan Academy and Hindu Heritage Endowment.

Grants from this fund will encourage the traditional Hindu arts through purchase of paintings, batiks and other artifacts. Artifacts will be displayed on the grounds to provide a Hindu atmosphere. Batiks and paintings will be used in the production of books, posters and magazines. This fund was created in the memory of William E. Daniels, a lover of art.

This fund sponsored the beautiful Lotus gates gracing the enterance at Kauai Aadheenam.
