We Need Help Now!

Nulifer Clubwala

Nulifer Clubwala, founder of this endowment, says:

"Giving to the endowment provides funds through quarterly disbursements. But since the Tsunami, even a year later, there are immediate needs that require cash, now, to get the orphanage back on its feet and provide the girls with a basic standard of living. If you would like to take care of some of the needs listed below, write a check, made out to "Hindu Heritage Endowment" and mail it to my address. Also fill out the form which will be emailed to me, so that I can be sure to watch for your check in the mail and contact you if necessary.

I collect these checks and send them to HHE with a note on how the funds are to be used. They are deposited to the Hindu Heritage Endowment and the full amount is wired to Sri Lanka right away. In order to keep the accounting clear, we cannot accept credit card donations for immediate relief needs. (Online credit card donations all go into the long-term endowment fund.) Please feel free to call me to discuss the situation at the orphanage if you would like to know more. Even if you cannot give a financial donation, there are other ways you can help which we can discuss. Help me give these young ladies a better life!"

About the Endowment Founder:

Born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan, Nilufer is a board certified pediatrician who has been in private practice in Monroe, New York for the last 13 years.

She lives in Campbell Hall, NY with her husband and two children and her parents. Nilufer is an ardent admirer of Gurudeva and his work. She considers it her life work to help children overcome their difficulties and challenges however they present themselves. It was in this spirit that the endowment was begun.

"If one child's life can be improved because of an action of mine then my life will be well worth it. I encourage all of you to take that first step and help out in what ever way you can, be it a donation, material gift or just a kind word of encouragement for these children. Get in touch with me and together we can make a difference"
